Some the fabric was too stretchy or too synthetic. Others had sadly dated high necks, or boat necks that could only fit a football player. Shirts that we did like were bizarrely expensive or vintage and therefore unobtainable. So we designed the athletic fit t-shirt to fit more snug in the arms, banded and ribbed the sleeve to hug the bicep, narrowed the body to fit just a bit tighter, and used a fine gauge cotton that has a natural stretchy quality to it resulting in the perfect fit.
