- Paisley is a term in English used for a droplet-shaped motif of Persian origin. The design became popular in the Western world in the 18th and 19th centuries following imports of the design from India, especially in the form of Kashmir shawls. The pattern is a firm faveriot for traditional British tailors and can be seen in the workshops of Jermyn Street and Savile Row. We have applied this classic pattern to our modern British underwear.
